HOW DO I GET INDUSTRY SET UP DETAILS BY ONLINE AT KARNATAKA (BANGALORE)

Government of Karnataka launched Kaigarika Bhoomi a Geographical Information System (GIS)- based programme to manage industrial areas in the State.
By Kaigarika Bhoomi can get information about existing industrial areas, like status of occupancy, availability of plots, etc. The extent of land available for
investors can also be obtained through the system.
Information of any industrial area can get by logging on to the official
website of Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) http://www.kiadb.in/
For example, if one wants to know about the availability of land for industrial purposes in Davanagere district, needs to click on the map of Davanagere available on the website. All information, including location of the land, extent, availability of infrastructure and others will swown on screne.
The objective of the programme
1. To bring in transparency in the day-to- day functioning of the Board and to ensure orderly development of the industrial areas.
2. Also helps attract more domestic and foreign investment.
