SAFETY OF BANK CARDS

Gaurd your bank cards, misplacing the same could give you sleepless nights. However, don't panic if you have lost that much-handy card, Do as follows

• Store the credit card 24-hrs helpline number on your mobile phone.
• If you lost your card, call up the help line number. In case you don't have the number, call just dial at 080-23333333 and ask for the same.
• If you happen to be abroad, use VISA/Master card global helpline number to report the loss
• As per rules of credit card companies, the loss should be reported within 24 hrs.
• Also note down call details, such as call timing, the executive handling the call and call duration.
• Keep Credit/debit card details such as card number, expiry date and type of card
• File an FIR. the credit card company will ask for an FIR
• You can have an insurance cover against loss of credit card
