INFORMATION: HOW TO FILE AUDITED STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS IN FORM VAT 240 FOR THE YEAR 2011-12 ONLINE

Now you can file your audited statement of accounts in form VAT 240 for the year 2011-12 online
Log on to http://vat.kar.nic.in and go to "others" and click on Form 240
Enter the summery of the report as specified in form VAT 240
Upload the scanned copies of Part-1, 2 and 3 of the audited statement of accounts
Pay any additional tax for the year 2010-11 if payable and submit Form VAT 240
Please submit Form 240 online even if you have submitted it manually

Please avoid uploading of form VAT 240 during peak days of filing returns i.e 18th to 20th december
