HOW TO GET AADHAAR, UIDAI, UID?

Enrol at any Aadhaar Enrolment Centre, your Aadhaar number will be delivered at your given address.

Where to enrol for Aadhaar?
Aadhaar enrolment are being carried out by State Government, post offices, Banks etc., on behalf of Unique Identification Autority of India. You can enrol yourself at an authorized enrollment centre run by any of the above. www.uidai.gov.in/enrol

What documents does Aadhaar need?

• Carry a proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) in original for verification purpose
• POI - A document with your name and photograph that proves your identity
• POA- A document with your name and address

Aney additional documents required?
Government of karnataka requires you to carry documents of certian welfare benifits. for details visit http://www.karnataka.gov.in/nammaaadhaar

What if you do not have POI/POA documents?
If your head of family has enrolled before you, he/she can introduce other family members using a document which establishers their relationship. Even if you have no documents, you can still enrol with the help of an Approved introducer. For details, contact your nearest enrolment centre.
