HOW DO YOU GET IT REGISTERED ?
Walk into the designated head post offices, get an application. You will be given a token for appointment. Visit the post office on that day with original documents of address proof, identity proof and proof of relationship (for children below 5 years) and proof of date of birth along with photocopies of the documents. Biometric capture of your eyes and thumbs will be taken by technicians there. UID will be reach your doorstep within a month by speed post

PROOF OF IDENTITY (PHOTO ID)
Passport, PAN card, ration card/ADS photo card, voter ID, driving licence, government photo ID card, NREGS job card, photo ID issued by recognized educational instruction, arms licence, photo bank ATM card, photo credit card, pensioners photo card, freedom fighters photo card, kisan photo passbook, CGHS/ECHS photo card, address card having name and photo issued by department of post, certificate of identity having photo issued by group A gazetted officer on letterhead

PROOF OF ADDRESS
Passport, ration card/PDS photo card, voter ID, driving licence, government photo ID card, NREGS job card, signed letter having photo issued by recognized educational instruction on letterhead, arms licence, pensioners photo card, freedom fighters photo card, kisan photo passbook, bank statement/passbook, CGHS/ECHS photo card, address card having name and photo issued by department of post, certificate of address having photo issued by MP or MLA or group A gazetted officer on letterhead, post office account statement/passbook, electricity bill, water bill, telephone landline Bill and property tax receipt - all these not older than three months.
Insurance policy, signed letter having photo from bank on letterhead, signed letter having photo issued by registered company on letterhead, certificate of address issued by panchayat head, IT assessment order, vehicle registration certificate, registered sale/lease/rent agreement,cast and domicile certificate having photo issued by state government.


DATE OF BIRTH PROOF DOCUMENT
Birth certificate, SSLC certificate, passport, certificate of date of birth issued by group A gazetted officer on letterhead.

  1. the counters at basaveshwar nagar bangalore are so insensitive to poorand aged they close at 4in the evening even 5 poor women are send back saying only 295 cards issued a day

    how to enroll for a apartment which is having 308 flats. the UID card should be issued at a time for all the residents is it possible to keep a counter at the apartment and finish of things if so what are the documents to be produced.
