UNIQUE ID FOR YOUR PROPERTY TOO

Not just you, now your property too get a unique identification number. By january 2011, all finally get their updated unique property identification (PID) numbers.
The new PIDs will be a complete identity of your property  not just updating ward numbers. they will be "geo-tagged" with the ex-act special dimensions of your property and have the latest photo graph of your house.


      USES:

• After january, one can access details on the BBMP website about any property in the city using the PIDs
• The PIDs can also be used for property registrations
• In bank transationsfor loans
• The PIDs will also help in giving a scintific identity to streets

    CARD CONTENTS:
Your new PID number will have the same three components
part 1:---------Ward number
part 2:---------Street ID number
part 3:---------Muncipal number/property number
(Total number of digits in new PID yet to be finalised)


by this , the property database for the city using Geo Information System(GIS).A total 13.87 lakh properties have been plotted on the GIS map.
