BESCOM BELAKU YOJANE HELPLINE and INFORMATION

Impartent Information To The Consumers
(Household consumers in Kolar, Chikkaballapura, Ramanagara and Bangalore rural Districts)
Under "Belaku Yojane" BESCOM will replace 4 (four) incandecent bulbs (filament) by CFLs in each in each household at a cost of Rs. 15/- per CFL. This work has been outsourced to M/s HPL Electric and Power Pvt. Ltd., by following government procedures.
Impartent Information
1. M/s HPL persons will come house for distribution of CFLs at Rs. 15/- each and take used incandicent bulbs.
2. M/s HPL Officials carry identification cards issued by the BESCOM.
3. If you have any doubt about their genuineness, plese feel free to contact BESCOM helpline No. 080-22873333.
4. Do not pay more than Rs. 15/- per CFL under any circumstances. If they demand more money, then call 24*7 helpline 080-22873333.
5. After paying the money, demand for receipt and a copy of the agreement.
6. For any information or assistance, feel free to contact 24*7 helpline 080-22873333 or nearest BESCOM office.
7. This is operational only in Kolar, Chikkaballapura, Ramanagara and Bangalore rural districts. If any indivisual agency is selling CFLs in bangalore or any other district in the BESCOM area posing as BESCOM representatives, the same may be reported to local police or to BESCOM Officials.
